Bartender 

Summary: As a bar tender you are responsible for creating a fun and unique guest experience in a fast-paced environment. You will need to make and prepare drink ingredients, pour drinks and provide recommendations, and make personal connections with your guests.

○      Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. This includes but not limited to: emails, phone calls and face-to-face.

○      Must be receptive and open to giving and receiving constructive feedback to and from the team as well as one to one basis. 

○      Must relish being part of a team that is steadily moving forward and is committed to accountability both personally and professionally.

○      Passion for being part of the team and helping to lead the staff (both back of the house and front of the house) by example.

○      Serves wine and beer

○      Mixes cocktails and other drinks

○      Collects money for drinks served

○      Cleans glasses, utensils, bar equipment and bar area.

○      Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies.

○      Slices and pits fruits, dry fruit for cocktails for garnishing drinks

○      Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Certification Skill and Abilities:

○     Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a full-service restaurant as a bartender required, 2 + years of bartending experience preferred. Must be able to Speak, Read and write proficiently in English.

Physical Demands

○      Must be able to walk and/or stand and sit for long periods throughout the day

○      Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel

○      Must be able to reach and twist occasionally

○      Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects occasionally

○      Must have the ability to independently lift 25+ pounds occasionally

○      Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions

○      Must have good hand-eye coordination

Working Environment

Office, restaurant and off-site venues for catering and events. May have loud music or noise and warm and cold conditions. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays.
